Located in the southwestern Tahoe Basin Area, it offers a fantastic opportunity to explore Desolation Wilderness and Emerald Bay State Park. It is mainly used to access beautiful Eagle Falls.
Visitors can obtain a day-use permit to enter Desolation Wilderness. Overnight visitors will need to reserve their permit in advance on Recreation.gov.
A parking fee is required to leave a vehicle here.
