Unicorn Peak

Peak10,781 ft37.84548, -119.3821

Nestled east of its more famous neighbor, Cathedral Peak, Unicorn is a prominent peak visible from many points around Tuolumne Meadows. When viewed from the north, it looks like a single spire (hence the name), though from other perspectives, you'll notice that the thin granite ridge consists of three peaks, the northernmost being the highest.

The shortest approach to the north summit is rated Class 4, though there are some enjoyable Class 5 routes on the east, west, and north slopes.
