Sprague Creek Campground

Sprague Creek is a small campground in west Glacier NP and sits on the northeastern shore of Lake McDonald. Some campgrounds are hidden among the trees, while others are close to the shore and offer mesmerizing views. As it faces west across the lake, it's one of the best campgrounds in the park for watching sunsets.

How to get there?

You can get to the campground via Going-to-the-Sun Road. The campground is ~9 miles from the west entrance.

Season

The campground operates from May 7 to September 12.

Rules and Regulations

Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

As campground payments are done at a self-serve kiosk, remember to bring cash!


This site is tent only - no vehicles towing trailers are permitted.

The campground has a picnic area, 25 campsites, potable water, and flush toilets.
