Season

The entrance station is open year-round.

Going-To-The-Sun Road opens around mid-June and stays open through mid-October - thought open and closing dates are highly variable and depend on snowfall.

Rules and Regulations

Entrance Tickets are required for each vehicle from May 27 to September 11 for entering the national park via the Going-to-the-Sun Road. They are valid for 3 consecutive days and cost $2.00 per vehicle. Additionally, you must have an entrance pass.


Please note: visitors with lodging, campground, transportation, or service reservations can use those reservations in place of the entry ticket.
